Overview

The Nepal fulvetta, also known as the Nepal alcippe, is a bird species in the family Leiothrichidae. Despite its name, it is not closely related to the fulvettas proper. The species is classified as Least Concern on the IUCN Red List.

Habitat

Natural habitats include subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest and subtropical or tropical moist montane forest. The range extends from the central and eastern Himalayas to northern Myanmar, with a subspecies found in the hill forests of southwestern Myanmar, specifically the Chin Hills and Arakan Mountains.
