Overview

The white-tailed alethe (Alethe diademata) is a species of bird in the Old World flycatcher family, Muscicapidae. It was recently split from the fire-crested alethe (A. castanea).

Habitat

It inhabits subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests. Its range extends across western Africa, from Senegal to Togo.
