Overview

The ochraceous bulbul (Alophoixus ochraceus) is a songbird in the family Pycnonotidae. It is classified as Least Concern on the IUCN Red List and was formerly described in the genus Criniger before being moved to Alophoixus in 2009.

Habitat

This species ranges from Southeast Asia to Sumatra, where it inhabits the mid-storey of broad-leaved evergreen and rainforests up to 1500 metres elevation.
