Overview

The eastern violet-backed sunbird, also known as the Kenya violet-backed sunbird, is a species of bird in the family Nectariniidae. It is currently classified as Least Concern on the IUCN Red List and belongs to the violet-backed sunbird superspecies.

Habitat

This species inhabits arid savanna in East Africa. Its range extends from Djibouti in the north to Tanzania in the south.
