The upland pipit (Anthus sylvanus) is a species of bird in the family Motacillidae. It is currently classified as Least Concern on the IUCN Red List.

Habitat

As its name suggests, the species inhabits mountains, typically open areas with grassland at elevations above 500 m. Its range includes Afghanistan, China, Hong Kong, India, Nepal, and Pakistan.
