Overview

Sharpe's apalis (Apalis sharpii) is a bird in the family Cisticolidae, currently classified as Near Threatened on the IUCN Red List. It was described in 1884 by George Ernest Shelley, who named the species after the ornithologist Richard Bowdler Sharpe.

Habitat

This species inhabits subtropical or tropical dry forests and subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests. Its range covers Côte d'Ivoire, Ghana, Guinea, Liberia, and Sierra Leone.
