Overview

The Bradypterus lopezi, commonly known as the evergreen forest warbler or Cameroon scrub-warbler, is a species of grass warbler belonging to the family Locustellidae. It is currently classified as Least Concern on the IUCN Red List.

Habitat

This species inhabits subtropical or tropical moist montane forests and moist shrublands. Its range extends across Angola, Cameroon, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda, and Zambia.

Did you know?

The bird possesses a distinct subspecies, Bradypterus lopezi mariae, which is restricted to the region from central and western Kenya to northern Tanzania.
