The brown barbet (Caloramphus fuliginosus) is a species of bird in the family Megalaimidae. It is classified as Least Concern by the IUCN Red List. The sooty barbet was previously considered to be the same species.

Habitat

Found in Borneo, its natural habitat consists of subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests. The species has lost approximately half of its connected habitat since 1973.
