The joyful greenbul, also known as the joyful bulbul, is a species of songbird in the family Pycnonotidae. It is classified as a species of Least Concern on the IUCN Red List.

Habitat

Native to east-central Africa, this species inhabits boreal forests as well as subtropical or tropical moist montane forests. Its range includes the Imatong Mountains and the Albertine rift region.

Although currently placed in the genus Chlorocichla, the joyful greenbul was originally described in the genus Andropadus before being re-classified.
