The barred cuckooshrike, also known as the yellow-eyed cuckooshrike, is a species of bird in the family Campephagidae. It is found in eastern Australia, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, and the Solomon Islands.

Habitat

The species is found in eastern Australia, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, and the Solomon Islands. Subspecies are distributed across various regions including northeastern Australia, the mountains of central New Guinea, Waigeo Island, the Bismarck Archipelago, and multiple islands within the Solomon Islands group.

Did you know?

The holotype specimen of the subspecies Graudalus nigrifrons was collected in Bugotu, Solomon Islands, in 1890 by Dr. Welchman and is currently held in the National Museums Liverpool collection.
