Overview

The Sunda crow (Corvus enca) is a passerine bird in the family Corvidae found across Maritime Southeast Asia. It is part of a species complex formerly known as the slender-billed crow, distinct from several related species that were previously treated as subspecies.

Habitat

This species inhabits subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and mangrove forests. Its range covers Peninsular Malaysia, Brunei, Indonesia and the Philippines, extending from the Malay Peninsula through Sumatra and Borneo.

Diet

The Sunda crow feeds on fish and shrimp.
