Overview

The southern grosbeak-canary, also known as the Kenya grosbeak-canary, is a species of finch in the family Fringillidae. It was formerly placed in the genus Serinus but was moved to the resurrected genus Crithagra after phylogenetic analysis revealed the former genus was polyphyletic.

Habitat

This species is found in Kenya and Tanzania. Its natural habitat consists of subtropical or tropical dry shrubland.
