Overview

The Crithagra striolata is a species of finch within the family Fringillidae. It is native to the eastern Afromontane and was formerly classified under the genus Serinus before being reclassified based on phylogenetic analysis.

Habitat

This species inhabits woodland edges, scrubland and forest edges. In the Degua Tembien mountains, it has been recorded as a breeding resident of these habitats.
