The fulvous-chested jungle flycatcher is a species of bird in the Old World flycatcher family, Muscicapidae. It is currently classified as a species of least concern on the IUCN Red List.

Habitat

This species inhabits subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests. Its range includes Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, and Thailand.

Although historically identified as a member of the genus Rhinomyias, molecular phylogenetic research in 2010 necessitated its transfer to the genus Cyornis.
