The Cyornis rufigastra, commonly known as the mangrove blue flycatcher, is a species of bird belonging to the family Muscicapidae. It is currently classified as Least Concern on the IUCN Red List.

Habitat

Native to Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Singapore, and Thailand, this species inhabits subtropical and tropical mangrove forests. Taxonomic classification varies, with some authorities recognising the Kalao blue flycatcher as a distinct species, while others, such as the IOC, consider it a subspecies of the mangrove blue flycatcher.
