The long-tailed reed finch, Donacospiza albifrons, is a South American bird belonging to the tanager family Thraupidae. It is the only member of its genus, Donacospiza, and is currently classified as Least Concern on the IUCN Red List.

Habitat

This species is found in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Paraguay, and Uruguay. It inhabits temperate grasslands, subtropical or tropical seasonally wet or flooded lowland grasslands, and swamps.
