Overview

The buff-banded mountain tanager (Dubusia taeniata), formerly known as the buff-breasted mountain tanager, is a Neotropical bird in the family Thraupidae. It was formerly classified as the buff-breasted mountain tanager before the split of related species.

Habitat

This species is found in Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Venezuela. Its natural habitat consists of subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.
