The Ficedula hyperythra is a species of bird in the Old World flycatcher family Muscicapidae. Its current conservation status on the IUCN Red List is assessed as Least Concern.

Habitat

This species is found across a wide range in Asia, including Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, the Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam. Its natural habitats consist of subtropical or tropical moist lowland and montane forests.
