Overview

The Ianthocincla ocellata is a bird species in the family Leiothrichidae. It was formerly placed in the genus Garrulax but was moved to the resurrected genus Ianthocincla following a 2018 molecular phylogenetic study.

Habitat

Found in Bhutan, China, India, Myanmar, and Nepal. Its natural habitat consists of subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.
