Overview

The scaly-breasted illadopsis (Illadopsis albipectus) is a species of bird in the family Pellorneidae. It is a sedentary species that is widespread throughout the Congo Basin, with isolated pockets in northern Angola, Uganda, and South Sudan.

Habitat

The natural habitat of this bird is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest, specifically within the understory and lower levels. Its range is widespread throughout the Congo Basin, including a few isolated populations in northern Angola, Uganda, and South Sudan.
