The Niltava macgrigoriae is a small niltava species belonging to the family Muscicapidae. It is native to the Indian subcontinent and Southeast Asia.

Habitat

This species inhabits subtropical or tropical moist montane forests. Its range extends across Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Laos, Myanmar, Nepal, Thailand, Tibet, and Vietnam.

Diet

It consumes small invertebrates and fruits.
