The Ethiopian oriole (Oriolus monacha) is a species of bird in the family Oriolidae. It is currently classified as Least Concern on the IUCN Red List.

Habitat

Found in north-eastern Africa, this species inhabits subtropical or tropical dry forests. It is distributed across two subspecies: Oriolus monacha meneliki in southern Ethiopia and Oriolus monacha monacha in northern Ethiopia and Eritrea.
