The Papuan logrunner, also known as the New Guinea logrunner (Orthonyx novaeguineae), is a bird species in the family Orthonychidae. It was formerly considered conspecific with the Australian logrunner and is currently listed as Least Concern by the IUCN Red List.

Habitat

This species is found in the highlands of New Guinea, where it inhabits subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.
