Overview

The rufous-tailed tailorbird (Orthotomus sericeus) is a species of bird currently classified within the family Cisticolidae, having previously been grouped with the 'Old World warblers' assemblage. It is currently assessed as Least Concern on the IUCN Red List.

Habitat

This species inhabits subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical mangrove forests. Its range covers Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand.
