Overview

The bare-throated whistler (Pachycephala nudigula), also known as the Lesser Sunda whistler, is a bird species within the family Pachycephalidae. It is currently classified as Least Concern on the IUCN Red List.

Habitat

This species is endemic to the Lesser Sunda Islands and inhabits subtropical or tropical dry forests, subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, and subtropical or tropical moist montane forests. It is currently known from the islands of Sumbawa and Flores.
