The Passer diffusus is a passerine bird belonging to the sparrow family Passeridae. It is often considered a subspecies of the grey-headed sparrow and is currently classified as Least Concern on the IUCN Red List.

Habitat

This species inhabits savanna and woodland environments. Its range spans Angola and Zambia, extending southwards into South Africa, where its population is currently expanding.
