Overview

The grey-olive greenbul, also known as the grey-olive bulbul, is a species of songbird in the bulbul family, Pycnonotidae. It is currently classified as Least Concern on the IUCN Red List.

Habitat

Found in eastern and south-central Africa, this species inhabits subtropical or tropical dry forests, moist lowland forests, and moist shrubland. Two subspecies are recognized: P. c. schoutedeni ranging from central Kenya to central Mozambique, Zambia, and eastern Angola, and P. c. cerviniventris found in Katanga (south-eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo).
