Overview

The terrestrial brownbul (Phyllastrephus terrestris) is a songbird belonging to the bulbul family, Pycnonotidae. It is classified as Least Concern on the IUCN Red List and is found across eastern and south-eastern Africa.

Habitat

This species inhabits subtropical or tropical dry forests, moist lowland forests, and moist shrublands. Its range covers eastern and south-eastern Africa, including specific regions in Somalia, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Angola, Zambia, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Tanzania, and Botswana.
