Yellow-vented Warbler

Overview

The yellow-vented warbler (Phylloscopus cantator) is a small leaf warbler classified within the family Phylloscopidae. It is currently assessed as Least Concern on the IUCN Red List.

Identification

• Size of approximately 11 cm (4.3 in).
• Mass of 6–7 g.

Habitat

This species inhabits subtropical or tropical moist montane forests. Its range extends across Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, India, Laos, Myanmar, Nepal, and Thailand.
