Overview

The Philippine leaf warbler is a species of Old World warbler endemic to the Philippines. It is classified as a least-concern species with a believed stable population.

Habitat

This bird inhabits tropical moist lowland forests and forest edges up to 1,500 m elevation. Its range is restricted to the Philippine islands of Bohol, Samar, Leyte, Negros, Mindanao, Basilan and the Sulu Archipelago.

Diet

The species feeds on small insects, foraging alone or in mixed-species flocks to find insects within the foliage.
