The crested jayshrike, or crested shrikejay, is a species of bird formerly known as the crested jay that is the only member of the genus Platylophus and the family Platylophidae. It is classified as Near Threatened on the IUCN Red List.

Habitat

This species inhabits subtropical or tropical moist lowland and montane forests across the Thai-Malay Peninsula, Sumatra, Java, and Borneo. Its range includes Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, and Thailand.
