The flavescent bulbul, Pycnonotus flavescens, is a species of songbird in the bulbul family of passerine birds. Its name is derived from the Latin word for a yellowish colour, and it is currently listed as a species of Least Concern by the IUCN Red List.

Habitat

The species is found in south-eastern Asia, with its natural habitat being subtropical or tropical moist montane forests. Its range spans north-eastern India, north-eastern Bangladesh, western and north-eastern Myanmar, southern China, Thailand, and Indochina.
