Overview

The pale martin, also known as the pale sand martin, is a small passerine bird in the swallow family. It was formerly considered a subspecies of the sand martin.

Habitat

Found in open habitats such as farmland, grassland and savannah, usually near water. Its range extends from Central Asia to southeastern China.
