Overview

The chestnut-bellied tit (Sittiparus castaneoventris) is a small passerine bird in the tit family Paridae that is endemic to Taiwan. It was first described by John Gould in 1863 and was formerly considered a subspecies of the varied tit before being promoted to species status in 2014.
