Overview

The red-billed starling (Spodiopsar sericeus) is a species of starling in the family Sturnidae. It was formally described in 1789 by Johann Friedrich Gmelin, who originally placed it in the genus Sturnus before it was moved to Spodiopsar in a 2008 reorganisation.

Habitat

This species is found in south and southeastern China. It is currently listed as Least Concern on the IUCN Red List.
