Habitat

This species is found mainly in Bolivia, Paraguay and eastern Brazil, with smaller populations in Suriname, southeastern Peru and northern Argentina. Its natural habitats consist of subtropical or tropical moist shrubland, swamps, and heavily degraded former forest.
