Habitat

This species is found in Angola, Cameroon, the Republic of the Congo, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ivory Coast, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Ghana, Guinea, Liberia, Nigeria, and Sierra Leone. The range is characterised by a discontinuity caused by the dryer climate of the Dahomey Gap, which separates two morphologically distinct subspecies.
