The band-bellied crake (Zapornia paykullii) is a bird species in the family Rallidae. It is currently classified as Near Threatened by the IUCN due to a decline in population caused by habitat loss.

Habitat

This species breeds in Manchuria, eastern China, and northern Korea, while spending the winter throughout Southeast Asia. Its populations are decreasing as a result of habitat loss.
